The SCA concept of "persona" is pretty flexible. For some people, it's
a name used in the SCA and nothing more. For others, it's a fully
developed alternate personality used to assist in one's study of
history. For me, it's the force that ties together all the interesting
things I want to study and think about into a cohesive
unit. Off site. I make a habit of sending letters to the local email lists
that prompt people to think about things from a persona perspective. These
are the versions that went to the Northshield Hall, from the Northshield
archives. Working through them assists in clarifying your persona, or
making your studies seem relevant as the life experiences of real people.
Give them a try.
